Participants will use the fun mBOT robot to explore their tech creativity while learning key programming and engineering concepts.
WHAT SKILLS WILL WE DEVELOP?
This course develops basic coding skills and strengthens all aspects of teamwork and complex problem solving skills.
Students will gain knowledge of common robotics and programming concepts. The mBOT will allow students to experiment with handcraft and it strongly promotes logical and mathematical thinking.
Children can do all kinds of fun experiments by combining mBOT with other products to create new play challenges therefore strongly using their imagination and creativity.
Get a hands-on introduction to robotics and programming with the fun and friendly mBOT. Work in a small team of two to program your mBOT to perform complex tasks and complete challenges.
Our new mBOT after-school and weekend course is aimed at students aged 9-12 who would like to gain insight into the world of robotics. No prior experience is necessary and our small group sizes and excellent tutors ensure that students can learn at a pace that suits them.
During the course students will learn how to use the mBlock coding language which is a great introduction to other programming languages. mBlock is an integrated software that is designed specifically for education. Using Scratch, C++ and Python that are all combined in mBlock, students can create programs to control the mBOT.
